Suzanne Powell, BA (died 18 November 2021, aged 58)

Obituary provided by Suzanne’s family

Suzanne Powell was a native of Newry, Northern Ireland and established in Madrid, Spain. After finishing her degree at Queen’s University Belfast, she left her homeland to “achieve a new life for herself.” Having received a medical diagnosis which was far from favourable, she decided to follow her heart with the complete conviction that there was a miracle awaiting her. Her story was soon to be shared with the entire world in a light-hearted and innocent way. Her 50 years of intense experiences may provide hope for many people who are in need of a spark of excitement and optimism at this time.

Suzanne was an inspiring and prolific reader and writer, and what a legacy she has left with her 11 books, her lectures and her foundation.

She also taught us to live and die with great dignity. Her mantra has been instilled in so many people.

“Si puedo, tu puedes. Solo hazlo!”
“If I can do it, you can do it. Just do it!”

25 July 1963 - 18 November 2021 RIP
