A group of Queen’s alumni currently working at Allstate Northern Ireland recently returned to the Queen’s campus for an engaging networking event. The event was hosted at Queen's state-of-the-art Student Centre and Students’ Union at One Elmwood.

The event provided a unique networking opportunity for both Queen’s alumni and Queen’s staff, highlighting the benefits for Queen’s alumni to stay connected with the University. The delegates also received a tour of the world-class facilities at One Elmwood.

Allstate Northern Ireland have a long-standing partnership with Queen’s to strengthen and grow their alumni network. The Allstate Alumni Chapter currently has over two hundred alumni, and this recent event was the third event organised for this calendar year.

Commenting on the event, Thomas McLaughlin, Senior Manager at Allstate Northern Ireland said:

“On behalf of Allstate I would like to thank Queen’s University for inviting our alumni to visit their new Students’ Union and Student Centre. Allstate have a long-standing association with Queen’s, and it was a valuable opportunity for our alumni to explore opportunities to partner and further develop future graduates of Queen’s University”.

Natasha Sharma, Alumni Relations Manager, Development and Alumni Relations Office added:

“We were delighted to recently host our Allstate alumni networking event at One Elmwood. Queen’s alumni are part of a world-wide alumni network of over 200,000 graduates, which spans 120 countries, who ensure that our global community of graduates retain a lifelong affinity to the University.

We really appreciate our strong connection with Allstate through their generous sponsorship of the Graduate, Student and Alumni Volunteer of the Year Awards. Allstate also offer a range of work placement opportunities for Queen’s students each year. Forming an Alumni Chapter is the next part of the journey.”
