QUEEN'S GAA TAKE THE NEXT STEP Your support for Queen’s GAA Academy provides our Gaelic Football, Ladies Football, Hurling, Camogie and Handball players with the best possible resources to enable them to excel both academically and in their sporting endeavours. Queen’s GAA has produced some of the games sporting greats and we continue to nurture some of Ireland’s best sporting talent. Your gift to the Sean O'Neill Fund benefits players at all levels and helps us maintain the GAA tradition in Queen’s. Funds will be distributed in line with the needs of the Academy, but this is an indicative list of items that you could help us with. £50 could pay for a ball for training and games. £60 could buy a dozen sliotars. £100 could pay for an hour of training on floodlit AstroTurf. £250 could pay for affiliation to the national governing body, which we need for insurance purposes. £500 could pay for transport costs to a game for one of our teams. £1500 could pay for a set of jerseys. I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that if I pay less income tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give or have given in the last four tax years. What is Gift Aid?
